Ara Mina reveals Pacquiao once conveyed romantic feelers

MANILA, Philippines - Controversial sexy actress Ara Mina finally disclosed what many suspected all along—Manny Pacquiao did express interest in her.

Mina and Pacquiao were once paired in the movie “Anak ng Kumander.” The two were rumored to have engaged in an alleged illicit affair soon after.

Though had been denying it to this day, Mina, in an interview with “Paparazzi,” November 21, said that Pacquiao seemingly communicated romantic feelers to her at the set of that movie.

Not that it was something novel for the voluptuous actress.

“Lahat naman yata ng leading men nagpapahaging,” said she.

And how did the Pacman make his overtures felt? According to Mina, the pugilist’s line of attack was a bit on the comical side.

“Hindi siya seryoso. Parati siyang nagpapatawa,” she intimated.

An example, said Mina, was when Pacquiao would utter the line, “Beautiful” every time she was able to render her scene in one take.

That said, Mina denied that it led to an affair.

“Wala. Wala talaga,” she emphasized.

She went on to deny rumors that they had been sending each other “personal text messages” thereafter.

“Siguro once lang, nuong hindi ko mahagilap ang location manager [for the shoot]. Tini-text ko siya kung saan ‘yong location. Ganun,” she said.

Mina is downplaying any chance for her and Pacquiao to do a movie again anytime soon even as she vowed to “retire” from showbiz in the very near future.

“Parang ano lang, naisip ko na nagawa ko na rin naman lahat na ng gusto kong gawin, so, parang iba naman. Gusto ko mag-business naman,” said she.

Mina is hoping that younger sister, Cristine Reyes, who herself is trying to make a name as a sex nymphet, will inherit her “throne.”

“Iniiwan ko na ang trono ko sa kapatid ko,” she declared.

As to her sister’s supposed love life—Reyes is rumored to be dating actor Rayver Cruz—Mina is taking a hands-off policy.

“Hindi ko na siya pinakikialaman sa love life, pero kung ako tatanungin, opinion ko lang, gusto ko si Rayver para sa kapatid ko,” she said.

Mina divulged that her sister already introduced Cruz to her.

During the same interview, Mina was able to bury the hatchet with “Paparazzi” co-host Mo Twister.

Mo Twister and Mina had a slight misunderstanding after the former put the latter in a spot during an interview at the height of the recently concluded local elections, wherein Mina was made to look as if she was uninformed concerning current events.

Mo Twister hugged the teary-eyed Mina, who then quipped, “Hindi kasalanan ni Mo ‘yon.”

To which Mo Twister simply replied, “I’m glad to see you again.”
